Adak Consolidated Services

Adak Island hosts the farthest West caribou herd in Alaska, whose origins stem from calves introduced to provide recreation for military personnel and subsistance for downed airplanes and shipwrecks. Adak is part of Unit 10 Aleutian Islands and offers no limit on caribou, except no bulls may be taken from January 1st through August 9th.

Ptarmigan upland game bird hunting is also available.
